Pre October 2015

In 2014 I was quite surprised to be diagnosed with secondary cancer.   What started out as a lovely bike ride and breakfast by the water down at Pyrmont ended with a very slow and clumsy fall off my bike.   Feeling unwell over the next few days and experiencing what I thought was concussion led to many exploratory tests and an eventual diagnosis.  What if the fall never happened?  I ask myself this on a daily basis and I am very thankful for the fall, my lovely little bike and the support given to me by family, friends, my work colleagues and everyone involved in my care to date.  Health care (POWH) and all support services (such as BCNA) in Australia are world class.    

In 2015 I plan to raise money for BCNA by riding from Vietnam to Cambodia.  I want to make a difference by fundraising for a cause that is now very close to my heart. I’d appreciate any contribution, big or small.    Any amount - $10, $20 or $100......anything would be great (and they are tax deductible).
