Hi there!

I'm gearing up, as in riding a bike and making a difference by fundraising for a cause that's close to my heart. Being a second time breast cancer survivor I know of the wonderful work provided by the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). During my treatment I experienced a time of uncertainty and overwhelming bewilderment, I received reassurance, support, inspiration and valuable information from BCNA that helped me to come out the other side and be a stronger person.

As part of this fundraiser I'm going to participate in the Pink Pedal Challenge 2015. The Challenge will start from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Together with 15 other team members we will cycle 350kms over a period of 7 days to Siem Reap, Cambodia. This will be a huge challenge for me and I'm up to it! It is something I want to do. As I am fundraising I'd like to raise awareness about early breast screening, leading to early detection and ultimately working towards a positive outcome, as I have been fortunate to experience. By raising these vital funds for BCNA will help others affected by this cancer and allow them to receive the same or even better assistance, support and reassurance as I received.

I have set myself a target to raise $6,400 and I need your help with donations, big or small. So please open your hearts and dig deep into those pockets for a worthy cause and like me help to make a difference.
